Policies & Guidelines:

Scheduling an appointment with us indicates that you have read and fully understand the massage polices and guidelines as listed below:

  1. Scheduling: Appointments are required. You can schedule by filling out our online form, calling or texting 717-945-3316. We recommend scheduling appointments in advance. Scheduling out your monthly, bimonthly or quarterly appointments is recommended before leaving each visit to stay on schedule and insure availability.

  2. Payment is due at the end of your service. We accept forms of payment by cash, check or credit/debit cards. We graciously appreciate tips to be given by cash, check or Venmo.

  3. Gift Certificates are available, valid for 1 year and are nonrefundable. You must bring your gift certificate to your appointment to redeem it.

  4. Cancellations & No-shows: Your appointment time is reserved for you and only you. We respect your time and ask for the same in return. We understand that things may happen in life that you will need to cancel. Our goal is to be fair with each situation and will be determined on a case by case basis. We ask that if you must cancel, change or reschedule an appointment that you do so with 48 hours notice or if less, you may be asked to pay half the service scheduled. Cancellations with 2 hours or less notice and No-shows will be responsible for paying the full service amount scheduled. In order to reschedule with us, these amounts must be paid first. Our appointments book up quickly and we reserve the right to turn away clients who do not respect our time.

  5. Late Arrival: Please understand that all scheduled appointments need to end at the scheduled ending time in order for us to stay on schedule. Please plan accordingly and arrive on time. Generally, we can see if we can work something out but understand that clients who arrive late will be charged for the full session length regardless of how much time was actually given. If your therapist is running behind, you will receive full session length and it is up to the therapist to make up that time.

  6. Client in-take/health history form: All new clients will fill out a form before the massage session. Clients must provide accurate health history and agree to inform their therapist of any updates or changes to their health/medical condition. Client privacy and confidentiality will be maintained at all times.

  7. Massage Termination: Only professional relaxation and therapeutic services are offered at this massage practice. Massage services will be terminated, immediately, in the event of inappropriate conduct of any kind. This includes harassment, threatening speech or behavior, sexual advances or requests, or disrespectful actions or language. A session will not be conducted if the client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If the massage is terminated for any of these reasons, full payment for the scheduled session is still required.

  8. Draping Policy: All clients will be treated with respect and dignity. Personal and professional boundaries will be respected at all times. Clients will be appropriately draped during their massage. Only areas of the body that are currently being treated will be exposed. The breast and genital areas will always remain draped and are never massaged.

  9. Sickness: Any client who is not feeling well or has a contagious condition is asked to not come into the haven but to reschedule their appointment after the condition has resolved.

  10. Scope of Practice: Massage therapists only provide therapeutic massage and modalities that are within the scope of practice of this licensed profession. Clients with acute injuries or conditions that are outside of the scope of practice should consult with their doctor. All clients are provided with a competent and professional massage that focuses on the needs of each client.

  11. Cleanliness: Clients are expected to be clean and suggest not eating a heavy meal 2 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

We look forward to having you!
